JOB DESCRIPTION:

To work with senior broker(s) and assist with all aspects of a real estate brokerage activities to enable them to provide their clients with timely offering materials, quality reporting and proactive follow-up. The candidate will control marketing deliverables from project inception to project delivery – research, content development, editing, proofing, and the project management of deadline-driven deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with senior brokers to effectively market and designated properties and distinguish projects from competition.
  • Work with senior brokers to continuously prospect and canvass new business opportunities.
  • With the guidance and direction of senior brokers, participate in cold-calling and in person program by discussing the attributes of the marketing property(s) with brokerage teams. Participate in market property tours with clients.
  • Work with senior brokers to develop follow-up materials for clients (e.g., lease comps, market overviews, and market presentations, coordinate information with other departments, brokers and assistants) and generate new ideas and designs for presentations and marketing efforts.
  • Create and update property profiles, market information, lease comps, sale comps and competitive property surveys for new listings.
  • Oversee and orchestrate preparation of marketing packages and proposals with team members.• Submit all data required for prospect and target marketing reports, commission memos, etc.
  • Keep track of market statistics: Sales, RE Taxes, Rent Comps, and Relevant news stories.
  • Participate in Brokerage team meetings and attend weekly sales meetings to update colleagues on leasing activity and market information, and to contribute to and benefit from others’ market knowledge.
  • Identify and communicate to senior brokers any obstacles to individual performance and opportunities to improve overall performance   of Brokerage Group.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years business experience preferably in real estate or real estate finance.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with multiple personnel and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to negotiate with all levels of representatives of an organization.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to establish goals and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills-comfortable soliciting
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills while maintaining a high energy level and being a team player
  • Must be well-spoken and possess strong and creative presentation skills and effective business-writing skills.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
