2211 Michelson is the first office building on the West Coast to achieve Silver status for the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Core and Shell Development designation (LEED).

In addition to its LEED Silver rating from the US Green Building Council, 2211 Michelson has earned the ENERGY STAR, with a rating of 90 out of 100. Much like the ENERGY STAR certification for products, ENERGY STAR certifications for buildings recognize the most energy efficient buildings in the nation. The building earned this top-tenth percentile score because of its efficient mechanical system, high performance windows, and energy controls.
