ORION Represents CashCall Inc. In Signing 125,208 Orange County Lease

ORION Property Partners Inc. is proud to announce its successful assistance to CashCall Inc. in achieving one of the largest Orange County office leases of the year. ORION’s founder and managing partner, Jay D. Carnahan, represented the mortgage and consumer lender in obtaining the 125,200 square foot lease at One City Plaza tower in Orange last week.

CashCall, with an estimated 1,400 thousand Orange County employees, will utilize seven of the building’s nineteen floors per the terms of the lease. As the largest tenant, the company will see its name atop the building, owned by Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc. of Los Angeles, when the lease begins later in 2012. CashCall, founded in 2003, merited by major growth in the past few years and considered one of the biggest mortgage and financial leaders in the nation, expects to accrue $600 million in revenue this year. Its headquarters will remain in Anaheim, where it leases nearly another 140,000 square feet of space at the Arena Corporate Center office campus.

This lease was one of the most elaborate and challenging for ORION because it required a three-party agreement between CashCall, Hudson Pacific and Kondaur Capital Corporation, the previous lessee and subletter of the space. The sheer size, time constraints and cooperation of the three parties made this large lease a huge accomplishment for ORION.
